ALAN SOUTAR

Alan Soutar has been playing darts for 25+ years and is one of the 128 current tour card holders on the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) circuit. 'Soots' captained Scotland in the WDF system and won gold in the team event at the 2013 WDF World Cup in Canada.

In 2021, Soutar entered PDC Qualifying School for the first time and won a two-year tour card to play on the professional circuit. He reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts, in-between two eye-catching runs to the last 16 of the PDC World Darts Championship.

'Soots' claimed his maiden PDC senior title in June 2024, winning Players Championship 11 in Hildesheim. He is ranked inside the world's top 50 on the PDC Order of Merit, and away from darts works as a firefighter and trains guide dogs with his partner Amanda.

STEVE REED

Steve Reed is the design and purchasing manager at Darts Corner and has 30+ years’ worth of experience in the darts industry. His first foray into the world of darts production was with A&M Tungsten, where he worked with a number of leading darts manufacturers to produce the tungsten barrels used to create their darts.

He has designed the darts for many of the top professional players, including the setup that Phil Taylor used to win his 16th World Matchplay title during his final year on the PDC tour. Steve played an integral role in the birth of Mission Darts, designing the products for the brand’s launch and working closely with its sponsored players to create their signature darts.

As well as designing darts products, Steve plays darts at a county and super league level. He represented Hertfordshire for many years before joining Buckinghamshire, where he now has the role of joint-team manager.

ANDY CORNWALL

Andy Cornwall is a former PDC tour card holder who now offers his expertise to players of all abilities through his Mission Precision Darts Fitting Service. Exclusive to Darts Corner, Andy’s one-hour dart fitting experience is an in-person service available for any darts player to help them to discover their best darts setup!

Mission Precision is the number one custom dart fitting experience in the UK. Andy has clocked up more than 1,000 hours fitting darts for a range of players, from beginners to PDC professionals. He has even welcomed visitors to his Mission Precision from as far away as New Zealand!

Andy has been a darts coach for 15 years and during his playing days also represented Lancashire at county level. He is now the brand manager for Mission Darts and works alongside ex-PDC professional Matt Edgar in producing content for the Mission YouTube channel.

ALEX MOSS

Alex Moss is a content creator for Darts Corner and the co-host of the Weekly Dartscast podcast. Alex and the American darts statistician Burton DeWitt co-founded the Weekly Dartscast in 2017 and the duo have produced 350+ episodes of the podcast, with their list of previous guests on the show a who’s who in the world of darts.

Alex also writes content for the Darts Corner blog, including the weekly darts news round-ups and how-to guides.

Nicknamed the ‘Zulu’ for his unorthodox throwing action, Alex’s own modest playing achievements include a handful of county youth appearances for Suffolk, scoring 140 with his second throw in the Viking Cup at The O2 Arena, and reaching the quarter-finals of the Astley Bridge Royal British Legion Darts Open.
